Jesus Christ is considered to be the most influential man that has ever lived. He was a great Messiah who saved us from our sins. He was crucified and died to save us from sin. During Holy Week, we remember how much Jesus has done for us. Holy Week consists if the days before Jesus' death and Easter Sunday.
On Holy Thursday: Jesus shared his last meal with his closest followers, the 12 Apostles. Even though it was Jesus' last meal, it was also the first Eucharist, a sacrament in which we still partake of today.
On Good Friday: Jesus died for our salvation. He carried a heavy cross on which he would be nailed to, to Golgotha Hill. He was then Crucified- nailed to the cross. He died at exactly 3:00 P.M. The world became dark.

On Holy Saturday: The world mourned the death of their Messiah, Jesus Christ.
Easter Sunday: A miraculous event occured when one day Mary Magdalene, a reformed person by Jesus' teachings, went to see Jesus' tomb. To her surprise, the big rock which gaurded the tomb had been moved and Jesus' body was gone! She began to cry when the risen Christ and an angel appeared to her. Jesus had ascended into heaven. Mary Magdalene was the first person to see the risen Christ.

During Lent we remember how Jesus suffered, died, was buried, and rose from the dead on Easter Sunday. Lent is a very special time of year.
Now, 2000 years later we still remember Jesus. He left his mark- he started one of the most popular religions known- Christianity. Jesus Christ truly was an influential man.
